A tuition-free Mesa school where deaf students thrive in both worlds.
Sequoia is a tuition-free, K–12 school in Mesa built around a Bilingual/Bicultural approach: deaf and hearing instructors, fluent in American Sign Language and English, preparing students to succeed in both the Deaf and hearing worlds. Small classes, real support services, athletics, college coursework before graduation — plus free ASL classes for families, so no kid has to navigate it alone.
Of everything we support, this one sits closest to Sertoma's heart. We've spent over a century on hearing health and communication — helping people who are deaf or hard of hearing live full, connected lives. Sequoia does that work every single day, one student at a time. Backing them isn't a side project for us; it's the mission, made local.
