Start Thanksgiving with your whole crew. The Mesa Turkey Trot has been a Mesa tradition for 58 years, and it’s still run by the Sertoma Club of Mesa, a volunteer service club that’s been part of this community for over 50 years.
Run the 10K. Run the 5K. Walk the 1 mile with the kids. Every distance gets a medal, and every dollar raised goes back into the community through Sertoma’s work, including support for Deaf and Hard of Hearing organizations, schools, and scholarships.

1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk: 8:00 AM Start
10K: 8:20 AM Start
5K: 8:40 AM Start
Red Mountain Park, East Mesa. The 10K and 5K are chip timed with live results and photos. The 1 mile is untimed, and everyone still gets a shirt and a medal.
Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome. So are leashed pets. Costumes are encouraged. Bikes, wagons, and scooters aren’t allowed on the course, and there’s no bag check, so travel light.
Wednesday, November 25, 8 AM to 7 PM: Drive-thru pickup at Red Mountain Park, north parking lot (corner of Sunvalley Blvd and Brown Rd). Stay in your vehicle and volunteers will bring it to you.
Race morning: Pickup opens at 6:30 AM at the park.
Running with a team or a big family? Be sure to pick up your packets on Wednesday.
Park at Red Mountain High School, right across the street from the park. Carpooling is strongly encouraged.
The race runs rain or shine. There are no refunds, but you can transfer your registration to a friend or switch to virtual by emailing info@startlineracing.com by 5 PM on Tuesday, November 24.
Want to be part of race morning? We need hands at water stations, medal tables, and more. Shifts start as early as 6:30 AM.
Groups and individuals are welcome, and all ages can help (kids under 16 volunteer with a parent). You’ll get a commemorative shirt, volunteer credit hours, and a front-row spot for the best morning of the year.

Where your registration goes: The Turkey Trot is the Mesa Sertoma Club's signature fundraiser. Sertoma — short for Service to Mankind — has spent over a century helping people hear, speak, and thrive: from providing hearing aids to families who can't afford them, to supporting local youth and veterans. When you run on Thanksgiving morning, you fund that work. It's the rare race where the medal isn't the point.
Not running? There's still a spot for you — and Thanksgiving morning at the finish line is the best seat in the house.
